Tennis has been a huge part of my life for the past six years. I played soccer for six years before discovering tennis, and I’d say that choosing to focus on tennis has been the best decision I’ve made. I instantly fell in love with all the different aspects of tennis, such as the competition, constant training, meeting new people and the idea that there is always something I can improve and work on. I am a very coachable and driven athlete because I love to compete and I try to push myself with everything I do, whether that’s on the courts or in school. I have been on varsity since eighth grade and for the past three years I have been playing number one singles for my team. I’ve had the honor to play at state twice as a doubles player for both my sophomore and junior season. My main goal is to attend a college that will push me to be my best both on and off the court.
