My name is Amelia Hildebrandt and I have been playing tennis since I was a kid. My dad played tennis in high school and it was always something we did together during my childhood. Tennis is one of my biggest passions and something I hope to continue in college and after! I am primarily a singles player as that is what I've been playing on my tennis team since 7th grade, but I really enjoy doubles as well and want to work on my doubles skills and possibly play more doubles matches during my season this year. I have been on varsity since I joined the team in 7th grade. I became 1 Singles in 9th grade and have been All-Conference for my last 3 years. I am the captain for this year's team and am excited to get to know all of my new players and help the team in any way I can. I have always been a team player so wherever my coach wants me to play I am always ready to do so and still compete at my usual level. Last year my team went to Section Semi-Finals and I am hoping that we work even harder to get to Section Finals this year. Overall, tennis is something that I love and I want to continue playing at a high level after high school, meet new teammates, and make more bonds with others!
