Kaylyn Seals '27 Recruiting Profile

Hi! I'm Kaylyn and I love school and sports. I've played sports my whole life, and have always been at the top of my class when it comes to academics. I'm a great teammate and love helping out my coach whenever they need it. I am also a great leader and someone to come to when their is an issue. I will always stand up for you and what's right.

I started playing tennis my freshman summer, and have enjoyed it ever since! Since then, I have completed in various tournaments, mostly singles. Singles is definitely my favorite because I feel like I have more control over the ball and ear i want it to go. Freshman year me and my doubles partners won several tournaments, and placed at conference.

In my free time I am always doing something that revolves sports, I am on the varsity basketball team which keeps me quite busy. I also enjoy watching all the sports like baseball, football, and hockey. I have always been a very athletic person and that's what inspired me to pick up tennis. I also am the communications officer of our Interact Club, (which is the step below Rotary and focuses on community service) where I run our club's social media accounts. Another club I am apart of is Deca, where I received the 1st place diamond for professional selling my freshmen year, and was top 10 in the state of Missouri for the event as well. I am also in Student Council, where I am just a regular member, but I am looking to become an officer next year. I have been in Girl Scouts since Kindergarten, and I have received the Bronze and Silver award. Another thing I have been doing over the past 2 years is volunteering at an animal shelter where we play with dogs and walk them throughout the day.

I'm so excited to keep on growing and I am so ready for this upcoming year!!
