I am a 5'11" 140 pound lefty from Kansas City, MO. I started competitively in the USTA G14s a few years ago and have consistently moved up the Missouri Valley rankings since then, while winning a few tournaments along the way. I am a quiet leader, as I tend to lead by example. I work hard on whatever is in front of me: school or tennis. As a Freshman, I played #3 on our Varsity team at Park Hill High School. I also won the Brandon McPherson Hustle Award, as I always give my best effort, even in conditioning drills! I was MVP for the team last year, playing #1 on the ladder. Due to our family moving, I played for Park Hill South this past season at mostly #3. As a team, we did very well, and I ended up All-Conference and All-District.
I want to not only play tennis in college, I want to contribute to a team in a way that helps us win championships at whatever level I play. At this point, I plan to study in the field(s) of Psychology, Communications, Journalism, and/or Business/Entrepreneurship, I am not sure yet of my major. My goals are to improve consistently as I contribute and eventually lead a tennis team in a school that fits. I am open to most areas of the country, but would like to be close to my very supportive family, if possible.
