I fell in love with tennis not to long ago... I began playing tennis in my 8th grade year. I had instantly fallen in love with the sport. I love the exercise, the hard work, and the thought of being one of the best at something extravagant. Those who do not play tennis fail to realize how tough the sport really is. My dream is to become the best tennis player I can be. If the best tennis player I can be is a college player or professional, so be it. I will continue to push myself when training to make my dream a reality. My goal in tennis is to make it one step higher every year; get those balls I couldn't last year & hit the shots I had not known before. My goal in life is to be successful in everything that I do. I often think about going off to college somewhere far away and making myself known somewhere new. But, then I think of the people in my community that have helped me or that I have helped in some way. I think maybe I should stay local; maybe this is where I belong. Making a difference in my community is very important to me because I believe giving back to others is one of the most important aspects of life. I spend my summers at the courts giving lessons to children of all ages. I feel my job is very important because I am breeding the love of the game into our younger generations. Whether on or off the tennis court, we can all make a difference in someone's life; even in the smallest way. Tennis is not just a game, it's a lifestyle. Tennis teaches you to be confident, competitive, and keeps you healthy. Tennis has made me the person I am today.
