I started playing tennis when I was 5 years old for only an hour per week and I still remember the day I won my first match, which helped me realize that tennis is what I wanted to pursue! I love tennis and I always try my best in every practice and match. I understand what it takes to be a great player and I am willing to put in as much work as necessary! I work hard every day of the week training and commiting to becoming a better player.
I have experienced tough losses throughout my junior tennis career, and although they hurt at the time, I have learned now to use these losses as motivation to get better and work harder. There is something to be learned from losing and winning, and I take something from each match. I know that I can beat anyone if I come out strong, not only physically and technically but mentally as well.
Academically, I am an honors level and AP student interested in studying engineering. I am a very determined student and I know how to put my mind to something! I am looking for a program that will fit me both academically and athletically.
I know that I can be a valuable contribution to any college team!
