I have been playing tennis since around 8 years old. I first discovered my passion for it when I was on vacation and my parents made me take a lesson at Club Med Academies. I loved the sport, and was inspired. I started competing in USTA at 11/12, but unfortunately suffered a SLAP tear(shoulder injury) at 12 and had to take a year off. This year gave me time to evaluate the love I had for the sport, and pushed me when I got back a bit after the age of 13. I started competing again in USTA at 14 and since have been working to get better and improve my mental and physical game. I recently took a couple of months to go to Altitude Academies in Florida and had a great time competing with a different crowd of people in a different environment.
