Dear Coaches,
My name is Jacquline Sidler, I have been playing tennis since I was about six-seven years old. I started playing this sport for fun at first. When I was younger my parents let me try any sport that I ever wanted whether it was soccer, gymnastics, basketball, figure skating etc but nothing every spoke to me. I would play these sports for two to three months and just lose my passion, drive and my love for it. When I discovered tennis my family thought the same situations would happen. I would play for a bit and quickly lose my drive but it was actually quite the opposite. I started loving going to practices, playing with my coaches and even made some amazing friends at such a young age who I still talk with today. I have stuck with this sport for about ten years and have never regretted that decision . I knew from then on I wanted to pursue this sport for a long term effect. My over all goal was to play during college and use my skills that I have been taught and am still being taught and use them at such a high level. Tennis is a up and down sport and theres never a dull moment which is why I have stayed in it for so long.
I know I would be a valuable addition to your team, what sets me apart from other recruits in terms of work ethic, character, athletics and academics is my combination and contention of my dedication, leadership qualities and my commitment off excellence. I have a very clear vision for my future that involves real estate, project management and a more broader term business.
My collegiate goal is to contribute whole heartedly to the success of the team. I want to be a key player, not just on the court but off as well. I want to be a positive influence for my teammates and the campus in general. My character is stroking and I feel I bring a sense of responsibly and respect to everything I do. I hope to carry these values with me to your program.
Athletically, I believe that I can make a difference on your team. Im constantly striving to improve, whether its my skills ,enhancing my physical conditioning and adapting to different work ethic and positions as needed. I have learned the importance of taking charge when needed, motivating and leading my fellow teammate to their best performance for an overall success. Tennis may not be a team sport but I am most defintly a team player who understand the significance of energy and collective effort. Im willing to put in the extra hours to ensure not just myself success but also the teams.
My academic achievements set me apart as a well rounded student based athlete. I engage in all my studies and defiantly understand the importance of balancing academics and athletics. Im extremely committed to mainting a strong GPA while pursuing my dreams in my business degree. I have a clear vision for my future goals outside of tennis. I aim to combine my passion for tennis with my passion and interests in business studying project management and real estate. I know these fields provide opportunities for me to apply my leadership ,discipline and teamwork skills I’ve achieved throughout my life.
I am not just looking for an opportunity to play but looking to grow as an athlete and a person. Hopefully my athletic experience and help me grow into my future eye on my business goals.
