Hello, I'm Riyaa Chandane, an aspiring collegiate tennis player and high school senior at Montgomery High School, NJ. I enjoy the competitive aspect and look forward to creating solid friendships with my teammates, one of my favorite aspects of being on a tennis team. I always look to lift my teammates and myself on and off the court, supporting them in all aspects of life. I personally believe that a great mindset and having fun with ourselves and our teammates is the most essential factor in winning matches and titles. I am very flexible between playing both singles and doubles and am very passionate about improving myself whenever I can. I've consistently played tournaments since I was 12, recently winning 1st place at USTA NJD District Championships in May '23 and June '22. My team, both times, also achieved 4th place at the USTA Middle States Championships, playing singles, doubles, and mixed doubles in June '23 and July '22. This tennis season, I'm playing 1st doubles at Montgomery High School. I also volunteer and impart the training to upcoming kids who are eager to learn Tennis at my tennis academy and school.
I look forward to connecting with my future collegiate coaches, bringing my dedication, enthusiasm, and competitive spirit to the team's success and camaraderie among my teammates. I sincerely believe my best tennis is yet to come.
