Before I started wrestling I didn't have a great passion or anything to work super hard for. Wrestling has completely changed me as an athlete, student and a person. I started in 8th grade and have loved it ever since. I learned a whole new level of discipline from things like controlling my diet to making sacrifices to focus on wrestling. Wrestling also kept me focused on school and I found that during the season my grades actually improved. I also really like the aspect in wrestling where what you put in you get out. In other sports people can rely on others to do their work for them and they don't look bad. In wrestling you have no one to rely on, it's all you. I would love to continue my career on to college and put everything I have into this sport.
