Karen Serina '15 Recruiting Profile

My main goal is to be a part of an amazing college tennis team and help contribute to the team to be on top.

I'm an all around tennis player but my strongest weapon is my forehand and my quick reflexes for my volleys. I love to use all the corners and angles of the court and working my way up to net.

My athletic ability and skills allowed me to become 1 out of 7 recipients of an athletic scholarship for the John McEnroe Tennis Academy out of 200 girls. I've been trained by some of the top coaches in the country including John McEnroe himself.

I've had five years of experience on the varsity tennis team for my school and have stayed #1 singles ever since. I am currently holding a record of 70-0 in league matches throughout my varsity career. I won our conference tournament 5 years in a row and earned two All-State titles as well as three All-County titles.
