Personal Statement
My name is Alyssa Pitt and I am from Pikeville, North Carolina. I’m in the Class of 2025 at Charles B. Aycock High School and hope to attend a 4 year College after.
I started playing tennis in 2021 (Freshman Year) and before had never held a racket before. I was seeded #7 as a freshman, #5 as a sophomore and #3 as a now junior. As a freshman I often played #1 doubles and #2 dounless. As a sophomore I often played #3 doubles and now as a junior I always play #2 doubles.
I believe I am different from other recruiting athletes because although I started at a late time with nothing in my favor, I still persevered. I am eager to learn new things and i’m always up for a good challenge.
