Hi, my name is Shayna Klitzke. I am a junior at Hope Christian Academy in Dickinson, North Dakota. I play tennis for Dickinson High School.
Faith, family, and sports are a big part of my life. I love serving at our Church and am currently active within our children’s ministry and vacation bible school programs. Growing up, I was part of our gymnastic program from ages 3-12 and also softball. I was fortunate to compete and travel in both programs. In softball, we won state my 5th grade year and placed 1st in the Silver division at nationals. Going into my 7th grade year, I gave tennis a try and never looked back. I’ve been practicing and competing year-round since my 7th grade year and love to grow my skills. I currently play twice a week in the mornings before school, take private lessons once a week and active in tennis club as it’s offered year-round. I enjoy the mental part of competing as well. I live with my parents, Shane and Audra Klitzke, along with Allanah (18), Jonathan (17), Noah (13), and Brooklyn (8). We enjoy supporting each other in our sporting activities, playing games, and all things outdoors.
If given the opportunity to compete in college, I would give the same dedication and commitment that I have throughout high school. I love being a part of a team and working to sharpen the skills of my teammates as they build into me.
Sincerely,
Shayna Klitzke
