I have been playing tennis for almost 5 years. I am 5'7" and 140 lbs. I have always been considered a very hard hitting, hard-working, and aggressive player. I lived in Guayaquil, Ecuador and I have trained with many coaches throughout this 5 years, Brian Dabul being one of them. Now I live in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina. I study at Hilton Head Preparatory School. I am a junior and my GPA at this time is 3.90. I have won many tournaments, nationals and internationals, singles and doubles; my ranking before I stopped playing for Ecuador was #1 under 16. Now, since I am a U.S. citizen, I am playing for the U.S.
The reason why I started playing tennis in the first place, was because it is my dream to play division 1 when I get to college.
My parents have told me that I need the scholarship to study in the U.S. and tennis gives me that opportunity. I am not so sure what I want to study, but I am really interested in Finance, communication, public relations, and law school. I am open to looking at most colleges that have a strong academic program and, of course, a woman's tennis team where I could be dedicated.
