Athena Franciliso '25 Recruiting Profile

Hello! My name is Athena Franciliso. I am 15 years old and a sophomore in Saint Thomas More High School in Rapid City, SD. I started playing tennis when I was five, and started doing lessons and USTA tournaments. In 2022, I have won State champion in flight 1 singles and flight 2 doubles with my partner. I had also receive the 2022 All-Tournament Player. In academics, I have join many school clubs and take 1 AP and 1 Advance class that my school offers as a sophomore. 

In 2023, My junior year, I have won the state tournament AGAIN for the second year in a row for flight 1 singles and flight 1 doubles. I, once again, received the 2023 All-Tournament Player award!

My Goal is to win state again next year, for the third time in a row. I am looking for a good school with a good educational system and tennis team. I feel like that Ii would be a good candidate for any team because of my leadership, positive attitude, and my mentality. I feel like I stand out than other athletes because I am a great player in my age, and also am always wanting to win while being supportive and kind to everyone else. I have a decent GPA of 3.6, which I am striving to do better.
