On the court, I am a committed teammate that craves a strong, competitive environment with teammates pushing each other to be the best version of themselves. I love an energetic, intense, and focused practice atmosphere where I can not only grow from those around me but also contribute to the success of others. I believe I could add tremendous value to any team and culture! I have enjoyed my journey as a competitive and driven player but it hasn’t been without its ups and downs. The most difficult part of this process has been an untimely injury. In February I sustained an ankle injury that required physical therapy. As a competitor, I desired to play through the injury. This proved to be a bad decision on my part as I struggled with my health, speed, and overall game on the court. While I was trending up with my game, this window of time had a negative impact on my ranking and UTR which has been tough to overcome. I realize that UTR is a significant metric for coaches and one that I am committed to improving over the next year and a half and throughout my four years of college tennis. While UTR/ranking is important, it is not what drives me. I am driven by a desire to work as hard as possible in every moment I am given and being a great teammate at all times! I believe that is what sets me apart from others in my situation.

Off the court I am a strong academic student (4.2 GPA with honors and dual enrollment courses). I am looking to enroll in a pre-physical therapy program as an undergrad with hopes of joining a physical therapy program after graduation. Over the next two years, through my dual enrollment program, I will earn 36 hours of college credit for general studies at Lee University in Cleveland. In the next 12 months I will take the ACT 3 different times with a goal of scoring 26-30 composite. I am heavily involved in leadership through my church and an organization known as Student Leadership University. This program has allowed me to travel and learn from some of the greatest leaders of our generation. I am currently an Ambassador for the SLU team and will travel to Normandy, Oxford, and London this summer for a leadership conference. Leadership, teamwork, and having a growth-mindset are areas that I am focused on in many areas both on and off the court.
Goals
Growth mindset. Take every opportunity to improve on court as well as off court.
Physical play. Continue to grow as a physical player on court making matches grueling..
UTR growth. Move a minimum of 2 UTR points in 2 years. (Goal - 8.75+)
