I have been playing tennis since I was seven years old. After my first tennis experience, I immediately developed a love for the sport and became very driven to practice and work hard to improve to play at collegiate level. If there is an opportunity for me to play in college, I will take advantage of it. I enjoy being active, experiencing new things like games and trips, and I enjoy competition. My teammates have also contributed to my growing passion for the game by supporting me on difficult days. When I set my mind to something, I am very committed to seeing it through to completion. This is also true in my academic life, I am a high school student striving to earn my associate degree and place in the top ten, I also play first violin in the orchestra.
I am a powerful and fast player on the court with quick reactions and all-around skills in tennis. As team captain, I am a great leader that enjoys teaching, strengthening my team, and motivating my teammates while we play. I am very coachable, open to feedback, and one of the athletes that works the hardest.
I want to go to a college that encourages and challenges me to succeed both in the classroom and on the court. I hope to set a great example for all of my peers and achieve my goals in order to make my family and myself proud.
