I first picked up a racket in August of 2018 and I have loved the sport ever since. I have worked very hard to get better at this sport that I enjoy so much. In January of 2019, I started taking lessons and my skills have improved even more. During the summer of 2019, I worked almost everyday to better my fundamentals and my skills and I also competed in a Junior Grand Prix tournament and won and because of my success, I got to compete at the State tournament at Newcome's Ranch on the Waco team. In the Fall of 2020, I achieved first team all district in singles and doubles and I was undefeated. I am still taking lessons and working hard to improve my game. I am a very dedicated person and a great team player and I also keep up good grades such as A's. I want to continue to improve because I really enjoy playing tennis.
