I enjoy life. I enjoy studying and have achieved a very high ranking in a large class of peers. I have successfully completed a college courses AP exams. I take advanced academic courses. In fact, I am performing better this year than last. Further, I enjoy music and have developed very good vocal skills. All of the previous activities balance well with my enjoyment of tennis. I enjoy being outdoors, even in 40 m.p.h. wind that West Texas brings. I enjoy working with teammates, the coaches, and playing against the competition. I do not like the cheating that is rampant among certain schools in the district and supported by the coaches. Our school does not tolerate such behavior for which I am appreciative. Unlike many who begin with a racket in their hand at age six, I began as a seventh grader. Thankfully, I was trained by a coach who year after year won the all-region championships while I was in middle school. So, I made very good progress and had remained high on the ladder on the J.V. team.
I want to go to a college that will challenge me academically and offer a chance to play tennis.
