Personal Statement
Ever since I was a little girl, my hopes and dreams have been to play college tennis. I have always watched college tennis, and hoped to be them one day. My mom is one of the people that I look up to, and she played D1 tennis having very little experience prior to college. This truly inspires me and signifies that anything is possible if you put your mind to it. I am a great addition to a team. My hard work and dedication helps me as a player, and helps others to follow my lead.

Academic Accomplishments
Are you in honor classes?
Yes. I was in high honor classes my freshmen and sophomore years, but now there are no "honors" classes and the standard classes are all the same difficulty level.Are you in AP/IB classes?
Yes. I took AP Biology and AP English during my junior year. I passed both classes and exams. Our school does not currently offer AP classes during the 2020-2021 school year because of the COVID circumstances.Awards and Activities
- AwardsMagna Cum Laude- 9th and 10th grade Kenny Baker award- This award is given out by the faculty to a person that has the qualities of courtesy, cooperation, and congeniality. I was chosen out of all of the other kids at the school, along with two other girls from my grade.
- ActivitiesHead of spirit club- I am the head of Spirit Club where we organize pep rallies, dances, spirit week, and enhance school spirit. Internship- I was approached by the middle school special ed teacher to mentor a kid with more needs than others. We met/will meet 2-3 times a week, for an hour. Babysitting- I have babysat for at least 15 different families, and do it 2-3 times a week, depending on the month. I babysat more earlier on in high school. Tennis instructor- I taught tennis at a local tennis club to younger kids. I also teach individual lessons outside of the club. Hostess/food runner at a restaurant- I am a hostess and food runner at a popular and busy restaurant, The Bench, where I am in charge of seating groups and cleaning tables. I am also in charge of making some of the food offered and bringing it to the tables. Setting up weddings- Over the summer I worked for a company called A Clover and One Bee. I helped to organize, setup, and carry heavy things used in the wedding. Teaching field hockey- One of the moms from my town asked if I could teach ten 5th graders field hockey. I have learned to become a leader and share my skills with them.
