I became interested in track in 7th grade when my coach told me I might be good at it. I decided to give it a try and ended up falling in love with the sport. The first 3 years of my track career were very rewarding as our team was crowned the State Champions for 3 consecutive years. Unfortunately, our team lost by a few points my sophomore year. However, this has encouraged me to work harder in order to get better results this coming season. Over the past 4 years, track has taught me several life lessons, including how to be a better teammate and how to persevere when things get tough. I am looking for a college that will not only be a god fit for me athletically, but also academically. I believe that my work ethic, competitiveness, and leadership would instantly impact your team!
