I have ran track my whole life. I’ve fell in love with the competitiveness and the rush of adrenaline before running my race. I’ve always imagined running on a collegiate level and how I would get to learn more about the sport, make new friends, and have more competition.
I work hard all year round to better myself and my team. I strive to be the best at all my events. I never have an attitude at practice. I have a lot of effort going into drills and reps. I never give up, ever.
In the past few years before I started running for my school in 2023 I was running with Opelika Parks and Recreations. I’ve also tried other sports such as soccer, volleyball, and softball.
In the classroom I keep my eyes forward and pay attention to everything the teacher has to say. I make sure to study all throughout the week. I also volunteer to help out with younger kids into getting better at running track.
I want to attend a college that will not only get me the job I need, but to also push me to work harder than I've already have. I am open to all options and want to find the right college for me. I want to be that person that young kids look up to, I want to be that person that pushes them to keep going. Lastly, I want to make my parents proud.
