Committed to Union University
I have a true passion for cross country and track. My parents were both swimmers, but after my mom said I could do cross country in freshman year, I haven't looked back. Since I go to a small college preparatory, the emphasis tends to be on homework and academic achievement, and I use sports to stay sane ; ). I want to run in college because I enjoy pushing my self to go faster, and I feel that I have a lot more to give. At the end of every season, I also wonder if I could have pushed my self a little faster, and that drives me to want to compete in college.
P.S. The profile picture I used was taken by one of my friend when I wasn't paying attention, after I had finished practice. I use it as my profile because I remember how when I am done running, I always feel happier than when I started.
