Ashlinn Aguayo '22 Recruiting Profile

My name is Ashlinn Aguayo, I am currently a rising Senior at Corona del Sol High School in Tempe, Arizona. I am a 4- time Varsity level athlete in both Track and Field and Cross Country. As well as a 2 year Girls Team Captain for both Cross Country and Track and Field.  My primary events for track include the 800 meter and 1600. I have been a key part of Corona’s 4x8 and 4x4 relays since my Freshman year. My current personal record for the 800 is a 2:26.75, the 1600 is 5:39 and my 400 PR is 63. Personal record for the 5k in Cross Country is a 20:46.7. In addition to running, I am very dedicated to my academics and have a 3.8 gpa and weighted 4.0 gpa. I have achieved to have a placement of the top 23% of my class at Corona del Sol and would love to continue advancing my academic career at the next level. I am a Christian and believe while pursuing my academics and athletics at the collegiate level, I have the incredible opportunity to dive deeper into my faith as well in this next chapter of my life. The values such as hard work, discipline, perseverance, leadership, faith and academic excellence are all extremely important to myself.
