Maia Stinson '22 Recruiting Profile

I want to be a world-known Interior designer. I want to make peoples visions come to life, I want to see people smile. Especially since you don't see a lot of that these days, or at least I don't. My life hasn't been all that easy, no ones has, but I have been in plenty of stressful situations in life. However, I got through them, I overcame them, I pushed through and never gave up. Whenever I fell, I got right back up without hesitation. Sports have made it easier for me to get up, whether its, basketball, football, softball, rollerskating, etc., but most importantly track and field. Track has helped me cope with all the negativity, as well as work through those situations and has always been a positive outlet for me. Track has reminded to never give up, and keep going even when you do win first place in 100m race. Track and field has made a major impact in my life, and I always want to have it as a part of my life, even when I do become that world-known Interior Designer.
