I have been competing in some sort of athletic competition since the age of 4. I was involved in club soccer for seven years and ended my career on gold level team. After my sophomore year, realized that I wanted to focus solely on track with the efforts of running at the college level. I earned a varsity letter in my freshman year and also earned the "Comanche Coaches Award" (MVP). I continued to earned PR's in all of my events (individual and team relay) though my sophomore year. My goal for my junior year was to continue to excel and set new personal records; Unfortunately, the COVID pandemic forced my junior year track career to be cancelled before the season began.
My ultimate goal is to participate in a college track program. I am very hard working, regularly doing extra conditioning outside of track practice. I am a team player and take direction well. I have a great relationship with my current team mates and look forward to building a family like relationship with any track team I am fortunate to run with in my collegiate career.
I am very serious about my academics as well. I currently have a GPA of 3.5 and I am continually trying to improve my grades through tutoring and study groups.
In conclusion, I am looking to find a college where I can improve my craft. I would love to work with coaches that are like minded and willing to help me obtain my personal goals and the goals of the school itself. I enjoy working hard, winning races, and obtaining a good education. I also would like to become part of a track family and build relationships that sustain after college.
