Personal Statement

Hello Coaches

From a young age, I’ll say middle school, I've always been a really active kid, during the miles I would always sprint them because I was a maniac. But I would've never thought that in a matter of a couple years I'd be one of the top high jumpers in my county (San Diego). I started jumping Freshman year not even knowing what high jump was, now here I am, in love with the sport and in love with everything it has to offer. Once I get into college, I plan on getting B’s or higher, competing at the highest level that I can get to, and dominating. I want to push myself to any limit possible, and pass those limits. But overall, I want to come out of college with my bachelors in Computer Science. I would make a good impact on your team because I will always be willing to learn more and more about my craft and push myself to perfect it. One thing you should know about me is that; competition does not scare me, it encourages me to better myself and overcome the obstacles put in front of me. I am unlike the average athlete because I was a triathlete in the first two years of my high school career, before Covid, I played Basketball and Field Hockey along with Track and Field. With or without the coaches say, I would always find a way to take the leadership role in my event, and will take the leadership role for the whole team if told to do so. My coaches from my former sports have mentioned to me and others that I am a very coachable athlete. I will do as told to the best of my ability, I am a fast learner, i am determined and committed to everything I do. Not only am I a good athlete but I am a good teammate and friend, I’m always there to cheer on and motivate my teammates.

Thank you for taking the time out of your day to read my Personal Statement

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
