Karina Rodriguez '22 Recruiting Profile

My name is Karina Rodriguez and I am a 5'1" track and field and cross country runner from Gilroy, California. I have been on the Gilroy High Varsity Track and Cross Country Team since my freshman year and I will graduate in the class of 2022.  My most important accomplishment thus far has been receiving First Team All-League as a freshman. Even from a young age I have always had a passion for running and knowing that I can continue to pursue the love I have for the sport at the collegiate level makes that passion that much bigger.  I can and will always offer my best possible work ethic to any team. I am mainly looking for schools in California, but I am very open to any school that will provide a good education and training.  As long as I am competing and running and getting an education in computer engineering, I will be happy. I would love to run at highest competition level possible, but I am very open to competing at any level. Financial assistance is going to be very important in my college selection process as my family is in high need. Ideally, I would definitely like to make an impact and contribution to my team.
