My goal in college is to earn my bachelor of science degree in Biology, with an emphasis in Pre-Med. I want to become an Anesthesiologist. I started running track my sophomore year of high school. I have always been very active in sports; softball, volleyball, basketball and track. I was encouraged by some of my friends to try out for the track team and instantly fell in love with the sport and hope to continue competing in college. Sports have helped me manage my time in school and inspired me to push myself in competition as well as academics.
Last year I qualified for league finals, but sustained an ankle injury and was unable to compete for most of the season. I have since worked to strengthen my ankle and I am ready for this season. My goal this season is to improve my speed, build muscle, qualify for CIF and win league as a team.
