My name is Hailey Chapman. I have been wrestling since I was little and really became serious about my training my 8th grade year when I won the CAGWA State Title for the second time.
Wrestling is so much more than a sport to me, it is my life. Wrestling has taught me to be a disciplined individual in not only the sport but also in life. It has taught me that not everything in life is given to you. If you want something bad enough there are no excuses as to why you can't or shouldn't do it.
I want to be the best, the best wrestler, the best student, and the best person I can be. I want to earn National titles and World titles and go to the Olympics. I have already begun my journey to accomplish those goals. I am a 5x CAGWA state placer, 2x CAGWA State Champion, 2x CA High School state qualifier and a 2020 California High School State Placer. I have competed at the national level in high school, placed at several national tournaments this year and become a 2021 All American at the USA Folkstyle Nationals in Iowa. I made the 2021 CA USA Girls Dual Team. I currently hold the #10 spot for the National Rankings at 132. I want to attend a college that will help me achieve my goals athletically and academically.
I am a very coachable athlete. I absorb all I can when it comes to wrestling and I am willing to learn and grow to become the best wrestler I know I can be.
