Throughout school, I have done a variety of sports, including track. I started track in middle school and found that I really enjoyed it and it came easy for me. Sports has taught me to make sure I maintain a good attitude even when something does not go my way. It also has pushed me to have a good work ethic. Sports are very important to me because it has taught me very important lessons and shows me the importance of taking care of my body. Without doing sports I wouldn’t have learned how to work as a team, the importance of school, showing respect for others, communicating with my coaches and team, and leadership.
