As I begin my Junior year of high school track, I am focusing on improving my times and learning the right ways to run. I am the team captain of both the cross country and track team at Tesoro High School and I am devoted to scoring points for my team and helping out in any ways possible. My goals for this upcoming year are to create relationships with potential college coaches and continue my education. Everyday, I work hard in class and on the track, which has yielded my success throughout these years. One thing that contributes to my success as an athlete is my love for running and my work ethic. Everyday, I am excited to be with my team and run together, and when workouts are hard, I remember that they will only help me. I am very committed to my running career and I am constantly trying to better myself. I am also very committed to my school work, maintaining a 3.8 GPA and enrolling in various Honors and AP classes. My goal is to enroll in a college that will push me to become a better athlete as well as scholar.
