As a little girl I love to run that at some point I dreamed being at the Olympic when I get older. It’s still is my dream till this day. I started off running in elementary but then stop when middle school started. Since there wasn’t really a running team. But when I got to high school that’s when I meet my coach telling me about cross country and to try it out. When I started cross country that’s when I remembered how much I missed running. How of a good feeling it was finishing the race knowing you did better and knowing how much you improve your time. Also knowing how far you have gotten from your journey.
My freshman year was one of the most impressive year for my cross country years. I started off late for cross country season. But for my first week and the exact week of a competition I ran 30:54:25. Each week there were competition. What was impressive was each time of the competition I drop my time more than 2 minutes or over a minute. To the point I ran 25:18:28 less than a month being in the cross country team. This hard work took me to city finals as a freshman year going with the varsity girls. Which they were seniors and juniors. Although sophomore there really wasn’t a cross country season. This year as a Junior year I’m looking for going to City finals and do much better than my freshman year. My coach and I are also looking for my time to drop this year by a lot. Our goal is for me to at least four minutes of my time. Which the time for my coach is looking for me to run is a 20 or 21 minute. Since I run at a 24 minute. I am ready to work harder than ever to a chive this goal and have a great experience.
