Track and field has become a home for me over time as I allowed the track to become my safe haven for more than 4 years, particularly when I won. I've learned a great deal from each season, apprehending track is not only an individual sport but also a team one. Running the 100m to the 4 x 400 m with my peers, I've gained a sense of trust through passing abaton.
Having cheered since the age of 6 in 2010, cheering in high school showed me how to push beyond my powers of endurance a fortiori. For nearly 3 years I've wrestled with bereft rhyme, and not grasping moves. Thus impelling me over quarantine to perfect my craft. Earning me the title of cheer caption, now I help aid others who were once like me.
First introduced to my school during my senior year in order to get others out of their comfort zone, I took on this sport for fun and soon grew to have a love-hate relationship with it. From having patience when not being able to hit the ball correctly to see it soar high in the sky, to having to cheer my teammates on when they punt the ball in.
