I originally took up running my Freshman year of high school for fun but have grown into it more competitively. This summer coming into my junior year I attended a high-altitude running camp in Colorado and really fell in love with running!
I am working to take my running to the next level and definitely plan to run in college. I haven't put very much mileage in so I am excited to see how much I can improve this year. I plan to study biology to go to nursing school and eventually train to be a certified nurse midwife. I love school and am working super hard academically. I am also involved in leadership at school and in my Church.
I am the second youngest of six siblings and all of my older siblings have attended colleges throughout the United States including Los Angeles, Chicago, Saint Louis, Hoboken New Jersey, Provo, Utah, and Berkeley California. And like them, I am open for an adventure. Thanks for looking at my profile. Lydia Waters
