I started track back in 8th grade at a school that never had a track team. I started with a team of only 3 people people and slowly grew. I fell in love with the sport because of my passion in running. I used to be an independent person when it comes to having to work as a team. Track taught me how to get along with others as well as communicate when I need help. During my time doing Track I was given the opportunity to meet new people and improve on a lot of great qualities on and off the track. For my last year in high school, I hope to beat my personal record and continue my love for the sport throughout college.
