The XC season is over and I had a great second season. I improved my times and finishes from freshman year and achieved my goal of making it to the California XC State Championship. I finished 5th at the CIF North Coast Section Div. 1 race allowing me to move forward to the state meet. This season I learned more about how to be efficient with my training as well as being more focused on race strategy.
Off-season training has started for the upcoming track season and I'm excited about the goals I've set for myself. The toughest goal I've set is to make the California State T&F Championships in the 800m.
My academic load continues to be challenging and I have maintained my 4.0 GPA through fall semester. The current coursework I am taking is Honors Chemistry, Spanish 3, Algebra 2, English 2, and World History.
