I have an outgoing, bubbly personality that I strive to use in a way to help others by encouraging them to do their best. I am firmly rooted in my faith and morals, and often times stand up for what I believe to be right in hard situations. I take pride in my organization and my determination to do tasks well. As far as academics go, I work very hard to maintain all A's, and enjoy classes in which I can participate in. I find it easy to self advocate when I need help on an assignment and ask several questions to help me and others understand. I am passionate about the life sciences and the human body. I love to research outside of class about health and fitness and how it effects the human body and mind as a whole. On the track, I find myself cheering on other teammates because in return, I know it helps me to keep pushing to be my best as well. I find joy in working hard and seeing changes and have a competitive spirit with myself. I love a team that is closely bonded like a family. I also enjoy the more technical side of running and jumping, and am always looking at film and talking with my coach as to how I can better my form. I find joy in creating new drills or workouts for myself that will challenge me to become a better athlete and a more resilient person.
