Hello, I am currently a senior. I hope to find a college where the team feels like a family and I can bond with my teammates and coaches. I am a very compassionate and empathetic person and a great motivator. I am very a competitive, driven, and self-motivated athelete. I hold myself to high standards in all of my many sports.I have competed in gymanstics for nine years and diving for one year, as well as currently competing in cross country and track. I am a very resilient athlete and have had to deal with many highs and lows during my time competing. During my freshman year, I was unable to compete in cross country due to a gymanstics injury. However that same year, I was able to recover and come back for track to make first-team all-conference in the 400. My sophomore season, I had another injury during track which held me back from my full potential. Although that was disheartening, I used this time to grow as a person and stay positive and cheer on my teammates, growing my leadership skills. Though I have been through a lot, I have grown so much as a person and an athelete; crushing personal records and becoming more motivated as an athlete and a student. I whole-heartedly believe that I will continue to excel no matter where I end up.
