My name is Grace Stephens and I work hard, in order to excel in every sport I participate in. Starting off with gymnastics at a young age, I spent 12 hours every week training to be my best. My hard work paid off as I placed first in the all-around category numerous times, including regional and national competitions. Freshman year I joined the high school diving team as a beginner and beat my schools diving record, which I still currently hold. In track that same year I was all-state, first team, for high jump and received several other awards, including all-conference in both the winter and spring seasons for hurdles. I push myself in regard to academics as well, taking all AP and honors classes. I scored in the 99th% on the PSAT 9 and am taking the SAT this November. I have been in double accelerated math classes since I was in 6th grade. I am very focused, determined and goal-oriented. I am currently ranked 12th in CT for indoor hurdles and 6th for outdoor hurdles.
