My long term aspirations are to become an obstetrician or to push my track career far enough to the olympics. One of my goals is to get my bachelors degree in biology and then get accepted into a medical school where I can finish the rest of the required years. Track is one of my passions and I want to continue to run track at a college level. I am in a school that can challenge me physically and mentally. I am interested in a competitive school when it comes to athletics and academics, I thrive in competition, I love the competitive environment.
What makes me a great candidate is that I am a leader but also a safe space to my teammate, I believe in putting myself first when it comes to my goals but I also believe in helping others when they are down. I am a very quick learner and I over the years I have gathered a lot of self discipline and courage.
What makes me different from other recruits in character, athletics, and academics is that I am very self aware, I have the courage to take that risk that everyone is afraid of, I tend to take care of my teammates, and I have the confidence and hope I need to be great. In athletics I love the pressure, I fight for what I want no matter how many times I mess up I will continue to fight until I master what I am trying to do. I don’t settle even if I have a great race I still think about how i can do better or cut my time down. When it comes to academics I push myself to the extreme, since I was younger I always made sure I have either All A’s or at least one B. I focus on my academics because I know where it can take me.
