I recently joined the Track & Field team at my high school after my math teacher, one of the coaches, asked me to come out. I did gymnastics for 12 years followed by 2 years of diving. After COVID and not being able to practice, I lost the love I had for diving. I went out to one of the practices and one of the coaches asked me to try pole vaulting. Gymnastics allowed me to pick the event up very quickly. I go to the gym five days a week along side working two of them. I am very dedicated in what I do, especially being in IB and having to balance everything out. In college I hope to take part in a Track & Field team that pushes me to be the best version of myself while helping others. I plan to major in Athletic Training in order to pursue my dream job of becoming either an Athletic or Personal trainer. Pole vaulting has been my passion since the beginning of this year and I wish to continue with it throughout college.
