Hello my name is Gabriela Millan I was born in Houston, Texas and later in my life my family moved to Largo, Florida. I'm 17 and a junior in Largo high school. I stared my track journey in middle school and to be perfectly honest i was not taking it serious until my 8th grade year when they put me in the hurdles. From there I had a challenge and I knew I wanted to achieve that goal of choping my time down both my 9th and 10th grade year I ran the 100m hurdles, 300m hurdles, the 4by4, the open 400 and high jump. This summer I was training and participated in the AAU Junior Olympics in Houston, Texas for the high jump and i have officially found a new challenge. I am a very outgoing person a team player and also humorous, i'm a visual learner and a hands on learner. More about myself is that both are my parents are from Colombia so i'm fluent in Spanish. Academically i'm sitting at a weighted GPA of 4.2 and i'm taking an AP class. My goal this year (2021-2022) is to cut my time down in the 100 hurdles to a 15 second time and my 300 hurdles to a 49 second, I want my 400 to cut to 1:00, and i want my High jump to be at 5'0. Meaning i have to put in work on my off season. With my grades i'm looking to maintain all A's this semester and getting a 1300 on my SAT's.
