BIG... a word that on a normal day may not apply to me. But give me a competition, a great tempo run, or even a day to run in the rain and I feel as big as life. For example, Texas Relays 2016, DMR, due to weather delays, I had been awake for 19 hours, had already finished an 800, and was about to compete again at 12:30 am. Thinking I'd be completely drained, I stepped out on the track and laid out a solid 1200m, adrenaline going even after the run with the lights in my face. I felt... BIG.
My goals for college competition include joining a knowledgeable program with focused training. I am not looking for a cookie cutter program that I could read in a book myself, but an individualized program specific to the strengths and weaknesses of me to make me a better athlete for my team.
Because successful teams don't feel "small".
