I want to attend a college that offers the best opportunity to excel athletically on the track and academically in my studies. Athletically, i want to compete all 4 years in track, improving my performance year over year, reaching my full potential. Specifically, my goal is to break 12 seconds in the 100m, 25 seconds in the 200m and jump beyond 19 feet in the long jump. Acedemically I seek an institution that will propel me to graduate school and a career in Sports Medicine.
My experience in three different sports (Track & Field, Gymnastics, and Cheerleading) that come with team and individual positions has helped me become a strong team player and a top performing athlete. My leadership by example on and off the track motivates my teammates to practice harder, perform better, and excel as a team.
Ever since since I started track 3 years ago, my dedication has brought me much further. I am committed to continue on that path in college. My passion for running gives my the drive to give 110 percent at every practice, every set, every day. My strong work ethic will enable me to succeed in the classroom and on the track. My desire to become a professional in Sports Medicine will help me seek a top notch education to complement my passion on the track.
