I have always loved competitive sports. I started off in the pool at a young age and spent four years swimming competitively. Then in 2nd grade I joined a local track club as a sprinter. I decided to challenge myself one year and tried cross country. I ended up qualifying for the jr. nationals.
Then I wanted to try basketball. I have been playing for my school and a travel team since middle school as a shooting guard.
My love is running! My events are the 100m, 200m and long jump. I currently hold the school records for my events at Lake Nona middle school where I qualified for country track and placed first place in my meets 3 years in a row.
I have great relationships with my coaches. The ones that have led me and the ones that are leading me now. I think my coaches would say that I am hardworking, humble and determined.
My college goal is to train and get to the Olympics while getting my degree that will allow me to have a career in sports management or health after my athletic journey.
