As an athlete in your program, I will strive for success, sometimes even failure. You can never learn from your mistakes if you don’t make any. These will help me progress and allow the teammates around me to learn from them as well. I look forward to all the ups and downs I can experience on your team. I plan to be respectful, honest, and attentive in all my activities. Kindness is the best policy and I would bring that along with me to your program. Being a good teammate or just an empathetic person in general truly impacts the environment around you. I would be able to contribute these traits to the team. My smile is one of the most noticeable characteristics I own but when it’s time to focus on the task ahead I know how to put it away. Sports will not be taken lightly, I have a job to do and I plan to execute that with my athletic ability and your guidance.
Academically, I am organized and view education as a top priority. Currently, I’m taking advanced classes, part of a program called AICE, from Cambridge University. These classes have given me a broader spectrum to education. I have a block schedule which helps simulate the college experience. With me as your athlete, you won’t have to worry about whether my grades are in the “right place” when the semester is about to end.
The relationship created between my coaches, teammates, and I will be valued greatly. I look forward to bringing a positive attitude and a helping hand to your team
