Since my Freshman year I've been newly introduced into the track and field world. At first I struggled with adjusting from being a mid-distance runner to becoming a sprinter. As the years have passed I've gotten better ,and officially committed to continuing my track career. Track and Field is a big part of my life and I want to continue running in college. Track and Field has not only taught me how to balance things in my life, but has helped me develop great relationships. As being a strong high school student, and runner my academics are very important. Balancing both studies and track can be a struggle sometimes, but definitely is worth it. My overall goal is to strive for the best as I continue to try and do my best. I've learned that being an athlete is not always easy but at the end of the day you've accomplished things you can be proud of. Having these abilities makes me feel blessed and a better athlete/person each day.
