Personal Statement
I started running when I was very little, but wasn't passionate until 8th grade and I didn't become serious until freshman year. Qualifying for state in both cross country and track were huge accomplishments for me. It taught me how to push myself and how much team matters to me. I also realized I have a lot of room to grow before I finish high school and that I have the ability to run at the college level.
I am looking to attend a college that can improve both my academics and athletics, as well as one that can lead me to a medical field. I have great work-ethic and am always striving to get better. I am ready to work hard every day and be the best I can. I am very supportive and encouraging, as well as motivational as I strive to help others and radiate with positivity and fun energy. I know I will be a great addition on any team with talent, character, mindset, and positivity!

- Ran my fastest race yet. Splits-5:41, 5:57, 5:54. Finished 33rd place and 1st on my team. Felt fast and relaxed the whole race.

- Raced as part of the 4x800 team and we placed 6th overall. Personal split of 2:23 and ran a solid race as third leg.

- Ran a really great race. My team didn't go and I raced as an individual. Second place in my heat and fourth place overall for large school girls. New PR of 18:50.
