My dream has always been to run cross country and track for college, and when I graduate I want to go into veterinary medicine. I am a big team person; I do everything that I can to help my team and always try to put them first before myself. I work hard at everything I do and push myself to do my best, especially in my academics and athletics.
NOTE (7/5/2020): I am continuing to train hard during this time as well as get in some private coaching to help myself continue to improve. Yesterday, on the 4th of July, I competed in a road race 5k and did really well. I placed 3rd overall girl and ran a 21:00, just missing my goal of breaking 21. I was super happy with my performance but will continue to work even harder so I can be ready for the upcoming cross country season.
NOTE (9/27/20) My season is going well and I continue to get faster. I ran 20:55.74 yesterday, breaking our school record for the 2nd time this season. My goal is to break the 20 minute mark this season.
Note ( 10/4/2020) I have committed to Erskine College. Thank you to all of the great coaches and other people we have met and gotten to know during this time of our lives. My family and I are Blessed and thankful for your thoughts, advise, and help.
